Waimoku
Falls Hike - Hana
If you are in Hana, this is one of the more adventurous
things to do. There is an easy 2 mile hike which takes
you to the foot of a 400 foot waterfall. Some of the
hike has been made real easy. There is a wooden path
constructed through much of the hike to help get you there.
It took me about 50 minutes to get there.
Along
the way, there are many sights to see.
The
trail goes through a bamboo forest.
Here
is the 400 foot waterfall. I am standing about 300 feet
from the base, and is a pretty awesome site to witness as you
can hear the water crashing down.
